Drug-Free World feature of the Australian premiere of US documentary “Overdosed”.

“Overdosed” is set in the small town of Petersburg, West Virginia, a rural community tragically impacted by the opioid epidemic sweeping the United States. The film explores how poverty drive so many people to become pull pushers and addicts, and the role Big Pharma distributors played in exploiting the physical pain and hopelessness of working class people. It particularly highlights the story of former drug dealer Bre McUlty, who also served as co-producer on this project.

Welcoming local guest speakers talking about the drug epidemic and drug-related crimes closer to home.
